2007 Kicks Off

Welcome everyone to the MRCC F.C. blog. This site is a place where we can talk about the games, share some encouragement or post pictures from the games. Please feel free to add your encouraging comments and to share this site with your family and friends.

Well we got our first game under our belts, albeit a loss to Capilano Christian Community, 3-1. After a nervous start, we tightened up in the second half, finally getting on the board by a brilliant strike on the free kick by Mike Wedge. Unfortunately Mark Beattie went down hard in the first and appeared to sprain his ankle (please pray for a full and speedy recovery). Congratulations to Chris Bock (Man of the Match) and thanks to all who came out to support us on a cold and windy night--it meant a lot.

And special thanks to Rocco and Jim for all of their organization and administration in putting the team together--well done!
