Well Friday night we played at Tom Binnie Park in Surrey. This is also the place where the BC Lions have their practice facility. We played the second highest scoring team in our division and played pretty well. You could see that the other team was getting a bit frustrated at not scoring. Kirk made several quality saves.
Unfortunately, Rocco (#2) had to leave the game early with a twisted ankle. Continue to pray for a speedy healing for him. Rocco (#1) also had a great game making all sorts of moves and getting the other team frustrated. Tony G, almost opened the scoring with a great kick that ended up hitting the far post and bouncing out. Hard luck. Late in the game the other team got a goal, but all-in-all it was a well fought affair. Rocco (#1) was the deserving Man-Of-The-Match.
Tim played his first game with lots of energy. On another note Peter C, couldn't make the game on account of his daughter having a baby earlier that day, congrats grandpa!
