Well Matt Q comes back from a few weeks on holiday and we win! All the breaks went our way last night as we posted our first shut and only our second multi-goal game in a 4-0 victory.
Tony 'Sure Strike' G notched our first two goals--both on penalty kicks. Pete 'The Flying Dutchman' scored his first of the season as well as Matt P notching his first, too. And Kirk got his first shutout. Maybe we should make all our games late starts!
Dan C, who finally started his first game after weeks of gnawing at the bit waiting for his paperwork to go through, played with tonnes of energy--earning him Man-Of-The-Match honours. And Glen got to wear the captain's armband for about 5 minutes--the pressure was tough, luckily there were no incidents that I had to address (hee hee).
