Did anyone watch the Toronto FC match yesterday against Chicago? Toronto won 3-1. It almost looked like a European match with most of the fans wearing the home colours and chanting and singing. Reminds me of the NASL in its heyday (remember the Whitecaps beating the Tampa Bay Rowdies in Soccer Bowl '79 - I realize a lot of the members on our team weren't even born yet!). It would be great if Whitecaps could move up to the MLS once the new stadium is here.
