Victoria Day Game

We had a home game Monday night against North Shore Alliance, a team that beat us 1-0 on an own goal earlier this season. This night we had plenty of subs and were ready to go. We opened scoring for the first time this season on a great cross by Mike which Mark headed into the back of the onion bag. A beautiful goal! Unfortunately, NSA got the next 3 unanswered goals. At least one on a questionable call. And also three hand balls in the opposition's 18 yard box which all went undetected. Oh well, sometimes the breaks are even, sometimes not!

It also looks like one of the other team might of got a bad break on his leg. Mike showed some great sportsmanship helping him off the field. Everyone played with lots of heart but mostly everything went against us that night. Not our fault lads-great work. Stewart and Roger made their season debut's this night, both playing very well. Matt P, was the Man-Of-The-Match, playing like a very experienced winger in this league.
