Unfortunately, the other team was able to tally 4. Friday night's game started off well. Tony T got an early goal with a shot near the goal line that found the back of the net. Bethany came back to tie it, then Team Beattie went to work. Dave got a high lofting shot off that went over the keeper and in. Not to be out done by dad, Mark followed with a nice blast to beat the keeper. The second half didn't go as well as the first. Bethany continued to press and eventually got a second goal. A couple of poor calls after that left us frustrated and a man short. That was enough to turn the tide as the other team notched two more goals and we just couldn't muster any energy to come back.
